Meet Mark, one of Price Electric’s People You Can Rely On.

Mark serves as a Project Manager Assistant, and his primary responsibility includes supporting the project managers. He ensures that project documentation is up-to-date, complete, and accurate.

Additionally, he manages administrative tasks, tracks project progress, and coordinates with contractors, suppliers, and engineers.

What has been your favorite project at Price Electric, and why?

My favorite project at Price Electric is the next one. It sounds cliché, but as with many things, the excitement of something new fades, and we begin to look towards the next. Many of the projects I work on are several years long, so there comes a time when the next one starts to spark my interest.

Tell us three things that most people don’t know about you.

  • I’m a licensed mental health therapist.
  • I recently completed the Mines of Spain 100, a 100-mile race in Dubuque, IA, with an elevation gain of about 14,000 feet. This was my goal for three years, and I accomplished it in 28 hours, 50 minutes, and 53 seconds.
  • I traveled through three states to attend high school.I lived in East Dubuque, Illinois, drove through Wisconsin, and attended Wahlert Catholic High School in Dubuque, Iowa.

I enjoy the mountains, so I would say Colorado. My wife and I love hiking and being outdoors. We typically go to Breckenridge, where we once hiked one of the 14,000-foot peaks. It took some effort, but we managed to complete it together.

We try to visit every few years, and we just returned this past year with our kids. During that trip, we focused on shorter hikes suitable for them.

Which Price Electric Core Value do you relate to the most?

The value that resonates with me the most is “Creates Opportunities for Success” because of my personal experience. I had a desire to grow within the company and explore new opportunities. This became a reality through meaningful conversations. The company considers your skill set and explores how best to utilize it.

Additionally, I strongly connect with the core value “Work Hard, Play Hard.” I believe in putting forth my best effort in every project or task I undertake.
