Price Electric Wins ABC of Iowa Awards

 Des Moines, IOWA, April 17th, 2025 — Price Electric of Robins received two prestigious construction awards from Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Iowa during the association’s annual Excellence in Construction Gala, held at the Iowa Events Center.

Price Electric was recognized for the following awards:

  • 2025 Award of Excellence in the category of Electrical – Commercial. The award was presented based on the company’s work on the Union at North Crossing in Waterloo, Iowa.
  • 2025 Award of Excellence in the category of Electrical – Commercial. The award was presented based on the company’s work on the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital Centralized Emergency Power Generation Facility Addition in Iowa City, IA.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Criteria for the award included project complexity, attractiveness, unusual challenges, innovation, safety, and budget compliance.

“These projects are an example of the innovation and commitment to outstanding craftsmanship that embodies merit shop construction. The superior workmanship illustrates the high level of quality produced by merit shop contractors,” said Greg Spenner, ABC of Iowa President and CEO.
