Meet Alex, one of Price Electric’s People You Can Rely On. Alex’s role at Price Electric is Residential Foreman in our Des Moines Branch. Alex’s favorite part of his job is “making customers’ lives easier and teaching apprentices how to successfully do this job so they can progress in their career.” “Rely on Us” is the core value that Alex identifies with most, through and through. “Whenever builders are in a pinch, I am always the one they call on. It makes me happy to know they can depend on me to make things happen.” Alex enjoys home projects with his wife, and they recently bought a home they are renovating. He also enjoys watching his little ones grow up, including his pet dog, Ace, and pet cat, Ozzie. In his spare time, he likes to watch criminal shows on TV.

Could you tell us about relocating from Robins’s Price Electric home base to Price Electric in Des Moines?
I was asked to relocate to Des Moines to help the Residential Division grow. It was an excellent opportunity. My wife and I both love Des Moines. It has been fun, and it has helped me move up within the company as well. I have enjoyed it so far and have succeeded in growing the Residential Business there.

What advice would you give to someone considering working at Price Electric?
I just wanted to let you know that there is nothing to think about. The truth is, since I have been here, it is a great company. They take care of their employees the best they can. It is always an open-door policy. It has always been fantastic to party with your boss and co-workers when many people do not even know their boss. It is a fantastic group of people. I would not change it for the world. They give you all the tools that you need to succeed. They truly do.
