Tell us about relocating from the Price Electric home base in Robins to Price Electric in Des Moines.
I was asked to relocate to Des Moines to help the Residential Division grow. It was a good opportunity. My wife and I both love Des Moines. It has been fun, and it has helped me move up within the company as well. I have enjoyed it so far and have had success is growing the Residential Business there.

I saw Beyonce in concert in Chicago.
Where is the best place that you have traveled to?
When I was a kid, my grandparents took us to Virginia Beach, and we got to run across the beach. It was awesome, we had a blast. My grandma, being the safety captain that she was, was scared that I would be taken by the waves. That is one of the best places we have gone.
What is your favorite restaurant?
Hacienda Las Glorias in Cedar Rapids. I usually get the A La Mexicana.
What are some items on your bucket list?
I would like to visit Jamaica, the mountains in Colorado and go to the top of the Sears Tower in Chicago.
What advice would you give to someone who is considering working at Price Electric?
There is nothing to think about. The truth is, since I have been here, it is a great company. They take care of their employees the best they can. It is always an open-door policy. It has always been cool that you can party with your boss and co-workers, when a lot of people do not even really know their boss. It is a great group of people. I would not change it for the world. They give you all the tools that you need to succeed, they truly do.
You recently passed your Master Electrician exam, tell us about that.
Essentially, this is the highest achievement as an Electrician. I can pull permits, design electrical systems, etc. All in all, it would allow me to go out on my own, if I chose…, don’t worry, I’m here for the long haul. It is just something I’ve always wanted to achieve in my career.
Do you have a mantra that you live by?
Reach for the stars. Don’t let anybody hold you back.
