Meet Dylan Dudley, one of Price Electrics’ People You Can Rely On.
Dylan is a first-year Apprentice Electrician at Price Electric. Dylan helps experienced electricians do many things, including laying conduit, drilling a traffic pole footing, or pulling wire. Dylan’s favorite project so far was helping with the new Marion Highway 100 intersection project. It was his first experience seeing an intersection constructed from start to finish and the products used for the project. In addition, Dylan enjoys mowing lawns, spending time with his family and friends, and playing video games in his spare time.
What is the best part of your job?
The best thing about my job is the people I work with. Not only is it a good time working with the guys at Price, but I can also learn a ton from them, whether it’s about being an electrician or advice on life.
If you could do any job for one day, what would it be?
I want to work for a day for the NFL team, the Dallas Cowboys. It doesn’t have to be coaching. I’m a big Cowboys fan.
What are three words to describe Price Electric?

What was the first big concert you went to?
I saw Justin Moore in Buchanan County. He’s good and puts on a great show.
What has been your best vacation?
I traveled to Breckenridge, CO., and went hiking this past summer. We had fun whitewater rafting on the Arkansas River. We saw a boat behind us get stuck, and two people went into the water even though they say people never go into the water. It was a great time.
What Price Electric Core Value do you identify with most?
The Price Electric core value I identify with most is, “Employees Work Hard and Play Hard.” I relate to this care value because Price Electric employees work hard throughout the year, and they still have fun while doing so. I enjoy working hard as well as enjoying company events, like the Annual Price Electric golf outing.
What is your favorite meal?
I like Chinese orange chicken rice and always order chicken sandwiches and fries.
What are some items on your bucket list?
I want to visit Europe, including Finland, Ireland, and Denmark.
What are three things that most people don’t know about you?
I have a fraternal twin, Dakota, who looks so much like me that some people can’t tell us apart. We even have family members that don’t know who we are.
I love lawn mowing; I can mow very straight. I have some nice stripes.
I was Vice-President of FFA all four years in high school. I enjoyed FFA; it was cool.
Do you have a mantra that you live by?
It’s the darkest before dawn. Sometimes it sucks, but you’ll get through it and find the light. But first, you must get through the challenging parts.
What advice would you give to someone considering working at Price Electric?
It’s gratifying. Sometimes it isn’t easy to learn something new. But it’s gratifying once you start getting the hang of things and learning.
