What is the best vacation that you have had?

My favorite vacation was when I went to Florida to work at the Price Electric Florida branch. When I was in Florida working at Price Electric Florida, I felt like I was on vacation. First, we visited the beach, great restaurants, and crab races. Then, during March Madness, the team joined CEO Jeremy Price and his wife Kristin at RonDao’s Pizzeria & Sports Bar to cheer on the Iowa Hawkeyes. It was an excellent experience because it helped me learn more about my coworkers and meet new co-workers. In addition, I enjoyed getting together outside of work.

What has been one of your proudest moments working at Price Electric?

I had the opportunity to work at the Price Electric Florida location to help with the recovery after Hurricane Ian hit. I enjoyed working on Sanibel Island, helping the community rebuild their homes. In addition, I worked on a building damaged by the hurricane, and it required troubleshooting to get the building up to code.

I learned a lot about how electrical systems work in natural disaster construction and ensuring that a building complies with codes and regulations after an event like a hurricane. Getting out of my comfort zone and working with different people was also nice.
