Before joining Price Electric as a full-time apprentice in 2009, Dan worked part-time at Price Electric while pursuing a degree in Engineering at the University of Iowa. 

In 2011, he became our full-time Safety Officer. The following year, in 2012, he obtained his Class A Journeyman Electrician license.

In 2023, Dan achieved certification as a Certified Safety Professional. He received the Safety Professional Award in 2020 from the Master Builders of Iowa and Iowa OSHA.

Since Dan’s promotion to Safety Officer, Price Electric has been recognized as one of America’s Safest Companies by EHS Today on two occasions. Additionally, Price Electric has received various levels of recognition from ABC of Iowa’s STEP program, ranging from Silver to Diamond. 

Nationally, ABC has also honored Price Electric with the National Safety Excellence Award.
